We have moved freight of all kinds, from armored vehicles and windmill bases to generators, transformers and exhaust cylinders: from cumbersome freight of modest value and weight to multi-million dollar shipments weighing over 100,000 lbs.
In January ’08 , Precision Specialized Division Inc was contracted to assist in the movement of the entire Alcoa Manufacturing plant (internal components, equipment and the manufacturing line) from Collingwood, ON to Newark, NJ then on to China. PSD was responsible for creating and executing a logistics plan for all of the over-dimensional pieces and legal flatbed loads, as well as ensuring all specified pieces were shrink-wrapped prior to loading. In fact, Precision Specialized Division Inc was called in at the last minute after several other carriers had “dropped the ball”, but we executed the project efficiently and in less time than was allotted.
PSD has completed several projects for Fracht USA, including the movement of the Siemens Exider Dome from Toronto to Toledo, OH.

Second re: equipment, PSD provides a well-maintained, late-model fleet of over 50 power units and 69 trailing units. This equipment includes vans, roll-tites, flatbeds, step-decks, RGN’s, extendable’s, mini-decks, and multi-axles (such as 2+3+2 and 3+3+3). We can also arrange rigging and trans-loading services in the Greater Toronto Area, Fontana, CA and Laredo, TX.
